1. General Information

This program is based on an in depth researched study in the field of Aeronautical Engineering. Students must prepare a dissertation in the usual style and format of no less than 100 000 words. However, before work starts, students must present a rationale of the proposed work and the literature and research methods planned to cover the field completely.

The areas below are included in the student's research area and are assignment based areas based to cover the research topic of the student. Each area requires a mini thesis of 8,000 words and its study area must have a bearing on the overall dissertation of the PhD program.

a) Strategic Management: Formulation, implementation and control
b) Operations Management: Producing goods and services
c) Quality Management: Quality planning and analysis
d) Statistical Methods: Statistics, probability and related numerical analysis
e) Research Methodology: Dissertation data collection and research methods

f) Dissertation

2. Completing the Dissertation

All Graduate Students must observe the following steps before commencing work on their dissertation.

a) The dissertation topic must be approved by Trinity International.
b) A proposal and synopsis, general layout, contents, research sources, etc. must be presented for comments and approval.
c) All outstanding work or coursework where required (if any) must be completed before the presentation of the dissertation proposal.

After the foregoing steps have been complied with, drafts of sections or parts of the dissertation must be presented for comments and approval. Where required the supervising professor will give guidance and instructions to the student to make improvements and changes.

Once all the requirements are completed and the final dissertation is accepted and approved, the student will receive a letter and course completion form from Trinity International. Arrangements will be made for the degree award provided the student have met the financial obligations. Special fees as required for degree attestation, attendance of degree granting ceremonies as well as the hiring of gowns and caps is directly payable to the university.
