2. Credit Transfer


Credit Transfer are units awarded to candidates based on career related learning experience and prior learning by using the Credit Assessment and Transfer applicable to advance standing students. Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) is obtained based on your learning achievements, which is common in western educational institutions. Thus all candidates are entitled to accumulate credit units from the previous academic achievements, assignments, training programs, including corporate training and workshops, correspondence courses completed, service in the armed forces and any other private or vocational study. This will reduce the time needed to complete the degree. All credit transfer applications will be assessed by TIU's Examination and Assessment Board.
